THA just completed reno of our kitchen, 2 bathrooms and some exterior work on our home. Overall, we're pleased with the outcome. They have excellent tradesmen working for them. I strongly recommend THA. Some thoughts for you if you are going to have reno done on your home, not just with THA, but any contractor: Insist on a full color rendering of your job. We didn't get that and probably would have made a different selection for kitchen backsplash if we had. Insist on a final walk through and have a punch list ready. We didn't get that and there were things that needed to be corrected. Make sure you included EVERYTHING you want done on the Scope of Work. Go crazy with the blue tape if you have to. I you have a defect in your wall(s) that you want repaired (cracks, dents, etc.) make sure you include them. If you don't you will have pretty new paint over them and they do stick out. Cover and pad anything that might get damaged. Kitchen appliance can take a beating and will certainly be covered with overspray and ceramic dust. Plan on getting your air ducts and carpets professionally cleaned. The crew does a pretty good job of minimizing dust, but if your HVAC system remains on during construction you would be amazed at the amount of dirt that is left behind in the air ducts and carpet.. Called Texan Home Additions to repair a large wooden beam that was falling down in our vaulted living room. While their website doesn't advertise that they do repairs, Trey agreed to send out a construction crew to fix the problem. The beam was around 20 feet high and required them to erect a small scaffold for the crew to remove and reinstall the beam. So they removed the nails that attached it and devised a better way to anchor it using special long attaching screws into the upper wall stud plates. Not only did they fix the problem of the falling beam, they removed and reattached the other seven beams so we wouldn't have any future problems with them. We didn't ask them to do this, they just did it, the way it should have been done when the house was built. We are happy with Texan Home Additions and the way they do things!

Texan Home Additions remodeled our master bath and guest bath. They painted our cabinets in the kitchen and painted walls in the kitchen, dining, and entry. They replaced all of our interior doors. They whitewashed our fireplace and replaced an unused exterior door with custom built in shelves. Finally, they created a custom built in wine rack. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. I had John and Trey do a project about 60 days ago, some fairly extensive interior remodeling. I have nothing but great things to say about them and their crew. While the dust was epic (we replaced a ton of tile on our first floor), they worked hard to keep it contained, and swept up at the end of each day. They are very responsive to calls and texts, so I never felt left hanging as to schedule, etc., and their pricing was very fair. I highly recommend them and in fact will be using them again soon as I’ve asked them to bid another job for us…not sure I can pay them any higher compliment than that!
